Briggs began her dance career at age four, started training in Ballet then moved on to train intensively in all styles of dance. She began attending workshops, conventions and, many drop-in classes training alongside world renown choreographers. Her professional career includes being a featured dancer in Bryan Findlay’s music video “Tonight is Alright”, member of Team Canada’s national Hip Hop crew, Contemporary dancer in Edmonton’s Fringe Festival. Briggs has been on tour with both Idance Convention and Triple Threat Dance Convention as an assistant to well established choreographers including, Megan Lawson, Sean Cheeseman, Jason Samuel Smith, Jaja Vankova, Channing Cook and many more. In 2019 Briggs moved to Vancouver where she had the opportunity to work with Paul Becker on Disney’s new series Motherland. In the Summer of 2019 Briggs started a contract with Celebrity Cruise Lines as one of the production cast Dancers. Briggs’s career also includes modelling with Chan International Modelling Agency, Coca-Cola’s WemFest Modelling Show, and a featured model in Sixo Dance Wear Catalogue. 

Briggs has been awarded many scholarships that have taken her across the world. In 2013 she travelled to Russia to take Ballet Master Classes with the Vaganova Technique Dance Society. She was awarded with a scholarship to attend Master Classes in Paris where she trained in Ballet, Hip Hop and, Contemporary. Briggs’s passion for dance has allowed her to begin teaching classes and setting choreography. She displayed her work two years in a row in Edmonton’s choreographers ball, Kinesis. She has won numerous choreography awards and continues to share her work with many studios. 

Briggs’s dedication to this art form knows no bounds and she continues to share her talent with the dance community!
