BIO
Carley is a Canadian born dance artist currently based out of Vancouver, B.C. Carley received her professional training at The Conteur Academy in Toronto, under the tutelage of Eryn Waltman.
Carley’s effortless technical ability, versatility and exquisite stage presence captivates those watching her. Her extensive training in ballet, contemporary, lyrical, modern, jazz, hip hop, tap, acrobatics, partnering and musical theatre has led the way to a variety of performance opportunities. She has danced with Release Dance Project, Hit and Run Productions and several productions with Patrick Roberge Productions, including Boogie Fever and Trans Canada Hits at Vancouver’s Pacific National Exhibition. Some of Carley’s other credits include Universal Studios Home’s Monsterville: Cabinet of Souls, ABC’s Once Upon A Time, and several commercials and print work.
Striving to grow as an artist, Carley continually seeks new learning opportunities to develop her craft. Carley has trained with leading dance educators and choreographers throughout Canada, the US and abroad. Some of these include the Northwest Dance Project, Gadfly and Apolonia, Dada on Pointe with Debbie Allen and company members of Complexions, Kenny Pearl, Modus Operandi with Tiffany Tregarthen and David Raymond, RSA with Shay Kuebler, Company 605, Metamorphosis Method with Igor Bacovich and Iratxe Ansa, and ProArte Danza with Roberto Campanella and Robert Glumbuck.
Carley’s positive outlook, professional work ethic and infectious energy keeps her very busy. She has studied acting, basic stage combat, piano and odori (Japanese dance). As a former competitive figure skater, Carley coaches off ice training for the Coquitlam Skating Club. Besides being an avid hot yoga fan, Carley continues to train, perform, choreograph and teach while attending Simon Fraser University.
