BIO
Douglas was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta. He began dancing at the age of eight with The Young Canadians of the Calgary Stampede. During his ten years with the program he trained in many styles including jazz, contemporary, ballet, hip hop, and musical theatre. With The Young Canadians, he has performed in several shows every year, including the annual Grandstand Show at the Calgary Stampede. In his senior year he was the recipient of the Enbridge Citizens of Tomorrow award and scholarship.
After graduating high school, Douglas attended McGill University in Montreal. He continued to dance there and completed Le Programme under the direction of Andy Michel. While completing his undergraduate degree, he was hired for ABC’s “Once Upon a Time” working with Paul Becker and Louise Hradsky. Douglas has also performed at “WE Day” in Montreal and Edmonton.
After moving back to Calgary, Douglas trained and performed with illFX Entertainment. He was recently book as a dancer on NBC’s “Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist” working with Mandy Moore and Jillian Meyers.
