Dancer - Choreographer - Movement Artist
BIO

Eowynn Enquist (She/her) is a dance maker and performer who lives and works on the traditional, ancestral and
stolen lands of the xwməθkwəy̓əm, Skwxwú7mesh, and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh nations.

Eowynn begun her formal dance training with Affinity Dance in Surrey, BC, Canada. Her formative education
continued as a dance major at Simon Fraser University; where her movement methodologies expanded and her
inspiration to create new dance works continued. In 2015 Eowynn was awarded the Amir Algahnand Award In
Contemporary Arts, a cross disciplinary scholarship awarded by the professors at SFU. As a student professional
Eowynn has participated in the Marie Chouinard Intensive 2019, Springboard Danse Montréal working with Stephen
Laks (2017), RUBBERBAND Dance (2019) and Arts Umbrella International Dance Intensives (2015-2017) to name a
few.

As an interpreter and collaborator in the Vancouver dance community, Eowynn has worked with many dance
companies and independent choreographers such as: Wen Wei Wang (Wen Wei Dance), Tiffany Tregarthen and
David Raymond (Out Innerspace Dance Theatre), Vanessa Goodman (Action at a Distance), Noam Gagnon (Vision
Impure), Jennifer Mascall (Mascall Dance), Amber Funk Barton (the response), Paraskevas Terezakis (Kinesis
Dance Somatheatro), Mahaila Patterson O’Brien, Rachel Meyers, Anya Saugstad, and Dance Victoria
(Emerging Choreographic Lab).

Eowynn is also co-artistic director of the Vancouver based company CAMP. Where she works in close collaboration
with Brenna Metzmeier, Isak Enquist, Sarah Formosa, and Ted Littlemore to create full length dance theatre
productions. Eowynn’s work with CAMP leans into theatrical elements of performance by finding extremes rich with
artifice, aesthetic, fantasy, exaggeration, and comedy, presenting audiences with hyper-performative environments,
as a magnified product of our collaborative interactions.
